How DigiVona works
What we publish, where it comes from, and who is responsible for it.
The newsrooms we follow
Every 30 minutes DigiVona checks the public news feeds of 38 technology newsrooms in 9 countries. The full list, with what we show from each, is on Newsrooms we follow. Stories are sorted into ten topics with a published keyword list, and stories that several newsrooms report are grouped so you can compare their coverage.
Story pages
A story from another newsroom has a page on DigiVona with its headline, a short excerpt from the newsroom's own feed, marked as such, and a link to the full article. The page also lists the other newsrooms that covered the story. We do not copy articles; the full reporting stays with its publisher.
Images
Images are the publishers' own feed images, loaded from their servers and credited to them. DigiVona does not use images from photo agencies on its own reports, and it does not publish AI-generated pictures.
DigiVona's own reports
DigiVona publishes three kinds of its own articles, all signed DigiVona Reporter:
- Reports written by the DigiVona editor.
- Overviews of stories covered by several newsrooms, which bring together what each newsroom reported.
- Daily roundups of the most important stories in a topic.
Overviews and roundups are drafted with the help of AI tools, using only the headlines and excerpts of the reports they cite. Each draft is checked automatically against those reports: a number, a name or a sentence that does not come from them stops the draft. Every fact names and links the newsroom that reported it, and every overview lists its sources.
Approval by the editor
Nothing DigiVona writes is published without the approval of the DigiVona editor. The editor reads every draft and approves or rejects it; a draft that is not approved within 12 hours is discarded. Each decision is recorded with its time and a fingerprint of the exact text that was approved, and only that text is published.
Editorial responsibility
Editorial responsibility for DigiVona's reports lies with DigiVona.
Corrections and removals
If something we published is wrong, or a publisher wants a story removed, write to us through the contact form or to removals@digivona.com. We answer within 24 hours; the details are in the corrections and removals policy.
